We have had an enterprise application running on-premise for security-conscious customers for 5+ years. Even though we designed it to be straightforward to move to Azure, lots happened in those years.

In this session we’ll talk about how we originally planned for cloud migration, what really happened, and what we’ve learned so far on the journey.

We’ve got it all: a mobile client app, sensitive data, integration with external systems, and business-critical services.

As we built our first full cloud environment, we found several young services that really helped us, and some older services we expected to be easy that proved to be less so.
